The Mary Pollock Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an extraordinary commitment to the real estate profession. For Betty, the honor reflects years of brokerage leadership, service to fellow REALTORS and the trust of clients who have returned to her through life's many changes. It is a meaningful milestone in a career devoted to both professional excellence and the community she calls home.
Building a Legacy in Local Real Estate
Betty's career reflects the kind of firsthand experience that comes from not only helping clients buy and sell real estate, but also owning and leading the businesses that serve them. She purchased her first brokerage in 2008 and has owned and operated multiple real estate firms, building teams and relationships while navigating the responsibilities of brokerage leadership.
Her roots in Mercer County real estate reach back to Owen Hall, with whom Betty, Brandi Wagner and Mary Niekamp all worked. Betty's brokerage later became known as Hall Realty, and in 2018 Hall Realty and Century 21 Master Key Realty came together. In 2024, Century 21 Master Key Realty became Master Key Realty, with MKR PM established for property management and MKR Referral for referral services.
Today, Betty and Brandi serve as principal brokers of Master Key Realty. Together, they also lead The DuBry Group, a mother-daughter real estate team combining their experience and shared commitment to personal service.
Leadership in the REALTOR Profession
Betty's contributions extend well beyond her own transactions and brokerage. She has received multiple Ohio REALTORS Achievement Awards and multiple Century 21 Sales Achievement Awards, recognizing her work throughout her career. As a longtime RPAC donor and supporter, she has also invested in the future of the REALTOR profession.
Her current service on the Forms Committee and Grievance Committee of the Midwestern Ohio Association of REALTORS reflects her continued involvement in the standards, practices and professional responsibilities that matter to real estate practitioners and the clients they represent.
Community Leadership
Betty's commitment to Mercer County has included leadership and board service across healthcare, education, business and economic development. Her experience includes the Mercer Health Board of Governors, the Celina-Mercer Chamber of Commerce, the Parkway School Board and the Mercer County Revolving Loan Fund Board.
These roles reflect a longstanding willingness to contribute her time and perspective to the organizations that help local families, businesses and communities thrive.
Giving Back
From school theater productions and athletic programs to cancer charities and scholarship fundraisers, Betty has consistently supported the people and causes around her. Her community involvement is not separate from her professional life; both are rooted in relationships and a belief in showing up for others.
That connection to the community helps shape her understanding of the families and neighborhoods she serves every day.
Trust That Spans Generations
Some of the strongest measures of a real estate career cannot be captured in an award or sales total. For Betty, they are found in the families who call her again years later, the referrals from longtime clients and the opportunity to help children and grandchildren of people she first served decades ago.
Buying or selling property can be one of the most significant financial decisions a person makes. Betty approaches those decisions with individualized attention, practical guidance and respect for each client's goals. Whether a transaction is a first home, a longtime family property or a commercial investment, she believes that trust must be earned through every step of the process.
Family, Faith and Life Beyond Real Estate
Betty's strong faith in God and her love of family are important parts of who she is. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, gathering with friends and doting on her puppies.
